Services

Create Together: Come to our Open Art sessions from 4pm-8pm in room 212 at Mat-Su College on Trunk Road (see calendar for dates). This is a great excuse to set aside time for your art and to fellowship with other artists in the community. Sessions begin in September and continue through May.

Artists get time to focus on their work at an Open Art session at Mat-Su College.

Demonstrations: Learn techniques and get valuable information from local artists once a month at a scheduled paint-together. Demo topics are posted on the calendar.

Workshops: In addition to passing on information about workshops and classes held at Mat-Su College, VFAA strives to host at least one workshop per year. Our workshops feature an experienced artist and will offer a discounted price to VFAA members.

Community Events: As a member of VFAA there are a multitude of other opportunities that will allow the beginning or seasoned artist to get their work out in the community and take part in artist gatherings. VFAA passes along all information regarding artist calls, workshops, competitions, and festivals throughout Alaska!
